RAMS and RedRabbit Lease Sync Issues.

This article explains recent improvements to the Lease syncing process and outlines how to handle potential sync or lease-related issues.
This is mostly only applicable to teams who have migrated from a previous RAMS account into a new RAMS account (e.g. when moving from ABSA to FNB)

Key Enhancements:

1. Tenant Wallet Reference Display

  • We now clearly display the Tenant Wallet Reference prefix next to each lease.

  • This helps users easily identify and select the correct lease when creating a ticket or inspection.

2. Leases Sorted by Latest First

  • The lease dropdown is now sorted in descending order based on sync date.

  • The most recently synced lease appears at the top of the list for convenience.

Billing Requests: Sync Checks & Warnings

Common Issues & How to Resolve Them

Selecting an Old Lease

  • If a user selects an outdated lease when creating a ticket, and then tries to initiate a Maintenance Request, they will receive the following error on the bottom left hand corner:

Solution:

  • Use the "Update Lease" function to switch to the correct, most recent lease. Once updated, the user will be able to proceed with the request.

No Active Integration Detected

  • If the system cannot detect an active integration with the selected asset, an error message will appear on the bottom left hand corner:
  • This error will only appear if a New Billing Request is selected.
