How To Schedule a Inspection on Portal:


Navigation: Inspections, New Inspection

  • Click on Inspections
  • Click on New Inspection, complete Inspection Details, click on Next
  • Select Inspection Template Type - Start Clean, this option will allow you to Create your template from scratch during your inspection
  • OR
  • Select Inspection Template Type - Use Template, this is the recommended option for your very first inspection on RedRabbit at the selected property. This option offers standard areas in a set property type .e.g. 1 Bedroom Apartment
  • OR
  • Select Inspection Template Type - Use Previous Inspection (Copy from One Inspection Into Another). Select the inspection you wish to copy from .e.g. latest outgoing into the new ingoing etc. Make sure to select Copy Photos as the previous comments are linked to the photos option
  • Once you have select your preferred Template Type click on Create
  • After your inspection has been Created, it should look like this



NB - Once the inspection has been scheduled, you need to communicate the set date and time of the inspection with the tenant in writing.

On outgoing inspections the PPRA requires the agent to give the tenant a minimum of 14 days notice of the pending outgoing inspection.



How to Communicate Scheduled Inspections

Navigation: Inspections, View Inspection, Contacts Tab, Send Email

  • Click on Inspections at the top centre, let the Inspections Dashboard load
  • Search for the Inspection you wish to communicate, click on View, wait for the Inspection to load
  • Click on the Contacts Tab, click on the Menu drop down (three little dots), select Email
  • You are able to CC or BCC any other relevant Contact, click Search Saved Replies, select the relevant Saved Reply 
  • Certain information will automatically be pulled through to the selected Saved Reply according to ##informationtags##. Click on Send when happy with select Saved Reply 
  • Close the Email Preview by clicking on the X
