Learn how to Merge Duplicate Assets on RedRabbit.

Duplicate Assets happen when the naming convention on RedRabbit are not met, which will cause a "No Match Found" error, leading to another Asset being created. For example: you will search 1 Church Street, but on RedRabbit the naming convention is Church Street 01In most cases searching for a "Keyword" like Church instead of the entire property name, will bring up all Assets with the word "Church" in it, thus you will be able to see if the Asset already exists or not.

Navigation: Portfolio > Assets > Options > Merge Asset

  • Hover over Portfolio, and select Assets
  • Enter property name into Search, select Options, Merge Assets
  • Click on Merge on the far righthand side
  • Enter property name your wish to Merge the duplicate Asset into
  •  Select Archive Empty Property, click on Merge

The duplicate assets should now be merged.

NB - Once the duplicate properties have been merged, the property that was selected as the duplicate will only be visible under Archived. All Inspections, Maintenance Tickets, and Maintenance Requests will appear under the unarchived property.
